"The impressive advances in many parts of the world with regard to offering spiritual education to large numbers of children and junior youth have certainly involved a growing capacity of teachers and animators to wisely supplement the study of the lessons and texts with appropriate elements... Notable in this respect are elements related to artistic activity." — Universal House of Justice, 2022

Explore Music"Uplifting, well-prepared community gatherings—extending in some cases to camps and festivals—occur with increasing frequency, and music and song feature prominently on such occasions. Indeed the arts as a whole, so integral a part of the development of a community from the start, stand out in such settings as an important means of generating joy, strengthening bonds of unity, disseminating knowledge, and consolidating understanding, as well as of acquainting those in the wider society with the principles of the Cause."
"The friends must assist one another 'to harness the power of modern technologies without succumbing to their potentially enervating effects.'" — Universal House of Justice, 2021 (Nine Year Plan)

"The Bahá'ís should not always be the last to take up new and obviously excellent methods, but rather the first, as this agrees with the dynamic nature of the Faith which is not only progressive, but holds within itself the seeds of an entirely new culture and civilization." — Shoghi Effendi
Bahá'í Studio was created to help communities incorporate the performing arts into their gatherings without requiring extensive resources or technical expertise—making Bahá'í events accessible and engaging for participants of all ages.
Our original vision focused on projector-based theatrical performances for large events. While these remain powerful tools for holy day celebrations and conferences, we recognized that many communities don't have access to projectors or the space for elaborate productions.
That's why we've expanded to include simpler, more accessible formats—like our TV puppet theater—that any family or community can use with just a television and some printed materials. Our goal is to make feasts and gatherings magical experiences for young children, not just adult-focused activities.
To make the arts accessible to Bahá'í communities everywhere, helping bring stories of faith and history to life in engaging, participatory ways that captivate participants of all ages.
"It is through such presentations that we can arouse the interest of the greatest number of people in the spirit of the Cause. The day will come when the Cause will spread like wildfire when its spirit and teachings will be presented on the stage or in art and literature as a whole. Art can better awaken such noble sentiments than cold rationalizing, especially among the mass of the people. We have to wait only a few years to see how the spirit breathed by Bahá'u'lláh will find expression in the work of the artists. What you and some other Bahá'ís are attempting are only faint rays that precede the effulgent light of a glorious morn." — Shoghi Effendi
